| Comments | The surface is covered with a layer of contamination that goes deep. Fine, compact structure, does not crumble. Several external elements/edge pieces. Four edge pieces fit together (2+2). Possibly parts of several loaves. The largest and thickest piece may possibly constitute the center of the loaf. Large, light-coloured edge piece, slightly curved, smooth top. Flat, rough bottom. Some blisters. Finely ground contents. A fragment of charcoal is visible on one piece. Similar to finds 713 and 714. Reminiscent of find 498. |
